If you buy the cheapo product to save cash (windshield wipers, for example), you’ll likely end up paying more in the end, as you’ll have to replace them sooner than you would had you bought the better-quality product to begin with. That’s not to say you should buy the most expensive product in the store—the top brand will typically have lower-cost models as well, which is what you’re looking for. The quality will be much better than the “discount” option, and the price is generally pretty reasonable.
